I’m Tami and I’m an Advocate. I’m not your run-of-the-mill Advocate. Yes, I represent children with disabilities and their Parents, but, I secure all of the necessary services for the child and/or the family.
The representation does not begin and end with a team meeting, that is merely the first step. Unlike many advocates IDEAS services include due process, juvenile court appearances, guardianship, psychiatric hospital meetings, state human service agency eligibility and services, etc. In other words whatever could help, the service is sought.
I love what I do and I believe I do it well, much to the dismay of many public governing bodies. However, the true testament of success is from all of the Parents, many of which have become very dear friends.
